LRCC Holds Orientation for Fall 2008 Students

Photo: Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Student Senate President, Christine Wessollek (Gilford), has just spoken with new LRCC students at the College’s orientation. More than 100 new students registered for fall classes this morning online in the Center for Arts & Technology on Prescott Hill following advising sessions and Wessollek’s presentation.

“It is exciting to see all of the new students coming this fall,” says Wessollek, a LRCC Teacher Preparation honor student. “Speaking in front of hundreds of students, parents, and guests was a bit intimidating but I am looking forward to the Student Senate’s new direction this year.”

Lunch was prepared and served by LRCC’s Culinary Arts professors, Pat Hall (Concord), and Bill Walsh (Belmont), to the hundreds present.
