Running Start at Kingswood HSPhoto:  Kingswood Regional High School Running Start student, Justin Kaufmann (Wolfeboro-left), does a professional sales presentation for Kingswood High School Career Development Coordinator, Michael Roush (Strafford-right), and Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Running Start Coordinator, Zach Miller (Franklin-center). Roush and Marketing Education Teacher, Mark Montross (Wolfeboro-not pictured), instruct Kaufmann’s LRCC BUS 260 Principles of Marketing class at Kingswood. In Running Start, high school students are able to earn college credits while at the same time meeting their secondary school graduation requirements.

“I am impressed with Mr. Roush and Mr. Montross’ teaching abilities in the marketing realm,” says LRCC Marketing Professor, Max Brown (Loudon-not pictured), who works directly with Roush and Montross at Kingswood. “Justin is one who will do very well in his college studies.”

Kaufmann will earn 3 LRCC college credits for his efforts. He plans to transfer the credits to a business or marketing Bachelor’s Degree Program at Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts for the fall.
