LRCC's Jean MacFarland receives Chancellor's Award for Service Excellence

Photo:  Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Receptionist, Jean MacFarland (Belmont), displays the Chancellor’s Award for Service Excellence which she received at the College today. The Award is given based upon nominations and votes of staff members of the entire College. MacFarland has been the “Voice” of the Laconia College since 1999.

“In this day and age with so many automated phone systems, I am glad that the College’s administration sees the importance of having a real person answer the phones and greet potential students,” says MacFarland, a remarkably pleasant woman who is well thought of by everyone she encounters. “Serving students with good customer service is very important to me.”
