LRCC Assists New Business Entrepreneurs

Acclaimed CreationsPhoto:  Acclaimed Creations Owner, David Townsend (Northfield-right), shows his custom fence display to Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) Business Management student, Dan O’Leary (Gilford-left), during O’Leary’s Small Business Management class on Prescott Hill last week.  Townsend and his wife, Diane Townsend (Northfield- not pictured), have just opened their new business in Ashland on Winter Street.

“Acclaimed Creations ornamental fencing is one-of-a-kind,” says David Townsend, a long-term machinist, originally from England. “Custom precision machining and manufacturing is what I know best and the business can do just about anything with metal fencing of steel, cast iron, and wrought iron components based upon specific customer requests. The fencing Acclaimed Creations makes is built for durability, longevity, and beauty. In fact, Acclaimed Creations began manufacturing its own metal fence due to dissatisfaction with what was found in the local marketplace.”

For additional information, contact Townsend at 968-3200. One may also stop by the manufacturing facility at 37 Winter Street, Ashland, NH, to view the designs. Acclaimed Creations website is www.acclaimedcreations.com.

Diane Townsend took LRCC’s Small Business Management class in 2006 with Business Management Professor, Max Brown (Loudon-not pictured), after earning her Bachelor’s Degree from University of New Hampshire.
