Tibbetts and Lynch were honored with six other high school Running Start teachers at the Grappone Conference Center this morning for their work in promoting Running Start, an enrollment partnership between participating high schools and the State’s community colleges.

Miller, relatively new in his LRCC Running Start position, is a FHS graduate who continued for the LRCC Associate Degree and Bachelor’s Degree at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.

“I knew Ms. Tibbetts when I was a FHS student,” says Miller. “She is well-known for Running Start and advocating for students to better themselves in every way. It is great to see Ms. Tibbetts, the Governor, and the other six high school faculty honored.”

Other Running Start high school faculty receiving awards this morning were Courtney Ritchings, Spaulding High School; William Wood, Pinkerton Academy; Marianne Dustin, Nashua High School; Chris Ginty, Merrimack Valley High School; Andy Harrison, Monadnock Regional High School; and Tom Sweeny, Berlin High School.
